I hope this message finds you well and enjoying these last weeks of August. As summer winds down, I am looking towards our autumn class schedule and feeling called to add something new. Since someone had recently asked about a group Chair Yoga class, I am considering adding one to the
schedule! We would start this 45-minute class seated in a chair, where we can do almost all the same moves we do seated on the mat, but more comfortably for most people. We would then move into some standing poses, sometimes using the chair, to increase strength, flexibility and vitality in a gentle way. The class will end with a 10-15 minute seated meditation so this would be a Chair Yoga with Meditation class offered in person and online, using simple mindfulness techniques and guided
relaxations. It would be a great stretch for your body and help to improve spinal posture, while leaving you feeling relaxed, yet energized. Same pricing for this as our other group classes and you can also subscribe monthly and save). Group yoga class passes are good towards any weekly group class that is listed on the schedule, including this one! You can
always mix it up and take different classes each week or if your schedule changes. :)
If you are interested in possibly joining this Chair Yoga with Meditation class, please complete this quick poll so I can find a class time that works for those interested. It will only take a few minutes to complete so please take a moment now if you can. Once I'm able to find a time that works for most, I will announce it. I am
excited to add this new class to the schedule, and your input is greatly appreciated!
I also have a few openings at this time for private yoga classes, either in studio or online. These are 1-1 sessions designed just for you and focused on your individual needs and experience. They can be on the mat or in a chair and scheduled at your convenience. These private sessions are great for anyone who prefers a more personalized experience. They're also excellent for beginners or anyone with specific needs that can't be met in a group class. These private sessions allow us to work
toward any personal health goals you might have, such as gaining more mobility and flexibility or continuing recovery after an injury. Several of my clients have seen wonderful results with these personalized sessions, which include yogic breathing exercises for managing stress, as well as a guided centering and relaxation. See more about this and our other offerings below and feel free to reply back with any questions.
In other news, our upcoming herbal class, Intermediate Backyard Herbalism is now sold out but more info to come soon on an herbal course starting in November! In the meantime, be well, my friends.
With gratitude,
Diana
